Track & Field Maintains Top 30 National Rankings

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Tiger women remain in the top 30 of the national rankings for the first in-season release, as announced by the USTFCCCA (U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) on Tuesday.  They currently sit at No. 28 in the NCAA and are one of seven Southeastern Conference (SEC) schools to fall within the top 30 in the country.

The women entered the season at No. 27, the highest for either team since the pre-season rankings began in 2008.  Since that release on March 27th, the Tigers have had five meets and already put up 13 personal record performances and 11 new All-Time Top Ten marks.

Next up for the Tigers is their first of two home meets during the outdoor season, the Missouri Relays.  The high school portion of the meet will be held on Friday at the Audrey J.
