EUGENE, Ore. - A personal record in the javelin and his second best day ever in a competition, Nick Adcock finished seventh in the decathlon on the third day of the U.S. Track and Field Championships and will represent the United States in the Thorpe Cup Decathlon in Berlin, Germany.

Held at the University of Oregon, the championships fielded some of the best talent in the nation in the decathlon and the 7588 points he scored throughout the two-day event was his highest point total of the year.
