Des Moines, Ia. - Senior Malcolm Pennix closed out his Tiger career on the final day of the USATF Championships at Drake Stadium.  Pennix finished 17th overall in the Senior Men's Long Jump competition.

The 2011 NJCAA Champion in the long jump transferred to Mizzou from Kansas City Community College, and has since earned two spots on the All-Time Top Ten lists.  One came as a member of the 41.98 4x100m team earlier this year at Ole Miss, and the other came from his primary event: the long jump.  He holds the No. 5 spot in the event with his PR of 7.82m (25-8).

The USATF Championships closed out the year for Tigers Track & Field, and they now look forward to a summer of training and the 2013-14 season.  For the latest on your Tigers, stay tuned to MUTigers.com and follow the team on Twitter @MIZ_TrackField.
