2005:
Outdoor: Earned All-America honors once again via 10th place national finish (18.38m, 60-3½) ... placed fifth at the NCAA Regional in Bloomington (18.79m, 61-
7¾) ... took third at the Big 12 Outdoor meet, throwing his collegiate best of 63-8 (19.41m).
Indoor: Big 12 Indoor Champion, winning on his final throw over Kansas' Sheldon Battle, throwing indoor personal best 63-½ (19.22m) ... placed eighth at the
NCAA Indoor Championships earning All-America honors once again (63-¼, 19.21m).
2004:
Outdoor: (MU) Became the Tigers' only indoor and outdoor All-American in 2004 with a seventh-place performance at the NCAA Championships in Austin, gaining
a new personal-best of 62-7¾ (19.09m) ... Olympic Trials qualifier, placing 17th, seven spots higher than his opening seed (59-5.5, 18.12m) ... earned two additional All-
Big 12 honors, scoring in fourth in the shot put and seventh in the discus, gained a PR in the discus with a toss of 176-2 (53.71m) ... competed in a total of 24 meets
during the year, an exausting enterprise for any track and field athlete ... finished sixth at the Drake Relays in the special invitational section ... shot put champ at the
Missouri Relays.
Indoor: (MU) Earned first Division I All-American honors with an eighth-place national finish, throwing the shot put 61-10½ (18.86m) ... placed third at the Big 12
Indoor in the shot (61-7, 18.77m) ... gained an all new personal best in the shot at the MU All-Comers, throwing for 62-1 (18.92m) ... won titles at the Cyclone Last
Chance and MU-KU-KSU Triangular ... placed in the top three in nine of the meets performed ... competed in a total of 11 indoor meets.
2002:
Outdoor: (NWMSU) All-American in shot put and discus events with second place finish in the shot put (59-7½) and a eighth place finish in the discus ... team
finish 10th nationally.
Indoor: (NWMSU) NCAA Division II Champion in the shot put.
2001:
Outdoor: (NWMSU) Earned fourth All-American honor by finishing fourth in the shot put at the national championships despite an illness.
Indoor: (NWMSU) Helped team to fourth place national finish.
High School:
Named Missouri High School Athlete of the Year in 1999 beating out former basketball Tiger and Los Angeles Laker, Kareem Rush ... All-State in four sports - Track and
Field, Baseball (with team), Wrestling, and Football ... AAU National champion in both shot put and discus during high school career ... his high school personal best of 64-
1 was accomplished at the USATF Junior National Championship where he took the title ... still holds the Class 3 MSHSAA shot put record with 1999 toss of 63-8½, the
mark is also the second best throw all-time in the state ... was Class 4 champion in 1998, defeating former Tiger Russ Bell, moved down to Class 3 his senior year and
named state champ, defeating another former Tiger, Christian Cantwell ... was starting tight end for his football team sophomore year (1996) that won the Class 3A state
championship ... also was all-state on his baseball team, and finished second in his class his senior year of wrestling.
Personal:
Son of Wayne & Nancy Woolsey ... earned a Ph.D. in health/sports psychology ... graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a bachlor's degree in health
and physical education ... redshirted in 2000 at NWMSU, used two years of eligibilty in 2001 & 2002, earned a medical redshirt in 2002, then transferred to Mizzou ...
while at NWMSU was a three-time Academic All-American and had six semesters with a 4.0 GPA ... father, Wayne, earned a doctorate from Missouri and was a football
and baseball star at NWMSU ... brother, Tucker, was a fullback for NWMSU when the Bearcats won two of their NCAA Division II National Championships, also is a
seven-time All-American in the shot put and competed with Conrad throughout carrer at Northwest ... now has earned a master's degree and is now completeing a
doctorate program ... born February 20, 1981 in Smithville, Mo.
