2006:
Outdoor: Became only the third person among all Big 12 schools (since 1920) to score more than 8,000 points in the decathlon, doing so in winning the Walton Combined Events with a score of 8,018 points ... score also earns an 'A' standard for 2007 IAAF World Championships in Osaka, Japan ... earned fourth-consecutive trip to the NCAA Championships for the decathlon ... placed second at the Big 12 Championships (7,484).
Indoor: Earned All-America honors indoors for second-consective year in the heptathlon, scoring 5,593 points for seventh at NCAA Indoor ... became Mizzou's record holder in the heptathlon with career-best 5,639 point performance for second place at the Big 12 Indoor meet ... had a huge shot-put career-best at the Big 12 Indoor, adding two foot to previous PR to throw 49-1¾.
2005:
Outdoor: Had a very impressive season, winning the Big 12 Championship in the decathlon with a then-new school record of 7,740 ... followed up with a third-place national showing at the NCAA Championships (7,687), grabbing second career outdoor All-America honor ... broke school record once again in winning Norwegian National Championship with a 7,752 score ... spurred large second day at NCAA Championships with new PRs in the pole vault (15-9) and discus (159-4) ... scored over 7,700 points in three meets.
Indoor: All-American for the first time indoors, placing sixth at the NCAA Indoor with a personal-best score of 5,546 ... tripped over a hurdle at the Big 12 Championships, preventing a top-three finish ... tied school record in the 60-meter hurdles with 8.27 clocking at the NCAAs ... expanded PR in the pole vault to an impressive 15-9 (4.80m) at the Intermountain Championships ... at the NCAAs grabbed new personal bests in the shot put (46-6), high jump (6-2 1/4), 60-meter hurdles, and long jump (23-1 3/4) ... Outdoor: Named all-Big 12 after fourth place finish in decathlon (7,261) ... earner career best at the Florida Relays with a meet-best of 7,587 points, breaking the Missouri record in the process, record was again broken by Knut Sommerfeldt at the Big 12 Championships later in the season.
Indoor: All-Big 12 in the indoor heptathlon with a score of 5,497 (third).
