Indoor Track- Earned her first All-Big 12 honor during the indoor season after helping the DMR team to a seventh-place finish with a time of 11:33.05...Just missed out on a second All-Big 12 honor after finishing ninth in the 4x400m...Earned personal best times in the 200m dash, 400m dash, 600yrd dash, and 60m hurdles...The first of these was these came at the Bill Bergan Invitational where she crosse the line in 9.05 for the 60m hurdles and hit 25.62 in the 200m dash...Next was her 600yrd personal-best at the Texas A&M Invitational, where she ran to a fourth-place finish in 1:26.77...Her 400m personal-best of 58.13 was enough for a second-place finish at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge.
Outdoor Track- Sha'Rone earned her second All-Big 12 honor as part of the seventh-place 4x100m team...Once again just missed out on a 4x400m All-Big 12 honor with another ninth-place finish...Also competed individually at the Championships, placing 14th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:04.19...Her personal-best 400m hurdles performance came at the Tom Botts Invitational where she ran 1:03.16 to place fifth.
High School:
Competed at Hyde Park Academy for coach Stanley B. Steams...Sha'Rone was a team captain for both track and volleyball...She was MVP for track & field (2007-2011) and qualified for the IHSA Track & Field State Championships all four years...She was sixth in the State Championships for the 300m hurdles (2011)...A seven-time USATF Junior Olympics qualifier, she competed in the 400m hurdles (2009-2011), 4x100m (2010), 4x400m (2010, 2011), and 4x800m (2011)...In 2011, she was part of the first place 4x400m relay team...Also played volleyball and basketball during high school, earning MVP awards for both and helped her team to a Conference title (2010-2011)...High School bests are 58.20 (400m hurdles), 44.91 (300m hurdles), and 15.10 (100m hurdles).
