Cross Country: Was squad's fifth finisher at the Big 12 Championships (70th overall) ... was team's sixth at the NCAA Regional (94th) ... clocked 5k 18:42, as the team's fourth scorer and taking 23rd overall at the Lakefront Invitational in Chicago. Outdoor: Redshirt season ... used spring semester for study abroad program. Indoor: Redshirt season.
Cross Country: Was the top Tiger runner in two races this season, finishing first overall at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge and 47th at the Roy Griak Invite with a personal record 22:35, one she would go on to break at Bradley ... ran a 21:32 at Bradley, finishing ninth overall and third among Tiger runners ... was the third Tiger finisher at Big 12's as she clocked in at 22:08, placing her 37th overall ... placed in the top half at the NCAA Midwest Regional as well. Outdoor: NCAA Regional qualifier in the steeplechase, running a personal-best 10:46.91 at the Arkansas Invitational on April 21 ... winner of the Arizona State Invitational steeplechase ... ran second leg on Mizzou's 4x800-meter relay squad that took fourth place at the Drake Relays. Indoor: Earned All-Big 12 honors in the 1000-meter run, clocking 2:53.70 ... winner of the 1000m at the Big 12-MWC Challenge with career-best 2:53.04 clocking ... also had personal best 2:18.55 time at 800 meters at the Nebraska Wesleyan Open.

Outdoor: Earned All-Big 12 honors with seventh-place finish at conference championships in the 3000-meter steeplechase, running a career-best 11:01.11 ... part of third-place 4x800-meter relay team at Drake Relays. Indoor: Ran in six races for the Tigers ... took 10th at the Big 12 Indoor Championships in the Mile run ... placed second at 1000 meters at the MU-KU-KSU Triangular ... ran a season-best Mile race of 5:00.45 at the Meyo Invite.
Cross Country: Ran in three meets for the Tigers, scoring two top 20 finishes ... placed 15th at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge ... had season-best 5k time of 18:23.9 at the Southern Stampede.
Earned all-state cross county accolades in 2003 and 2004 and finished second at the 2004 cross country state 4A championships ... on the track, Potrykus finished second in the state in the 1,600-meter race ... earned all-state honors in track (2004) as the anchor leg with the 4x800-meter state champion relay team and was a four-year all- conference athlete in both track and cross country ... named the Jefferson County Most Valuable Player as a freshman in 2001 and again in 2003 and 2004 ... led by high school cross country and track coach Jan Blumenstein and Tim Carlson ... named Conifer High School Female Athlete of the Year as a senior (2005).
