Indoor Track - Kearsten started her junior season with a string of first-place finishes, starting with the Badger Indoor Open, where she marked in her first school record mark of the year in the weight throw (21.01m / 68-11.25)...She topped that mark the following day, during the Wisconsin v. Missouri Dual, throwing 21.18m (69-6) for a PR and first-place finish...She accompanied that performance with a win in the shot put, marking in at 16.64m (54-7.25)...Kearsten's winning streak in the shot put continued for the remainder of the regular season, including wins in the elite fields at the Rod McCravy Memorial Meet, Armory Collegiate Invitational, and Tyson Invitational...She tallied her fifth and final win of the season at the SEC Indoor Championships, defending her shot put title from the 2013 Outdoor Championships with the season's top throw in the NCAA, besting her own school record mark with a top toss of 17.81m (58-5.25)...She closed her season at the NCAA Indoor Championships, where she added two more First Team All-American honors to her collection, placing third in the shot put (17.30m / 56-9.25) and seventh in the weight throw (20.87m / 68-5.75).
Outdoor Track - Kearsten debuted at the the prestigious Texas Relays after her exciting indoor season, culminating with the NCAA's top shot put mark of the year, an SEC title, and two All-American honors...She placed second in the elite shot put field, marking in at 16.42m (53-10.50)...Her top mark of the outdoor season for the hammer came on home turf, as she placed second at the Missouri Relays with a toss of 60.37m (198-1)...The following week, at the ESU Mid-Week Open, Kearsten threw a new Missouri School Record in the discus, winning the event with a mark of 57.31m (188-0)...She also won the shot put comeptition at the ESU Open, hitting her best mark thus far this season (17.20m / 56-5.25)...She bested that shot put mark the following meet, traveling to the west coast and the UCSD Triton Invitational where she placed third with a season's best toss of 17.90m (58-8.75)...This performance wound up being, once again, the leading mark in the NCAA for the outdoor season...Kearsten added another All-SEC honor during the Outdoor Championships, placing second in the shot put behind teammate Jill Rushin (17.17m / 56-4)...She went on to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the shot put, placing third in the country for her seventh All-American honor.

Indoor Track - It was another record-breaking season for Kearsten, as she broke the Missouri School Record for the indoor shot put at the first meet of the season...She threw 16.87m (55-4.25) at the Cyclone Holiday Preview to place second in the event, taking down the previous record of 16.71m (54-10) by Shernelle Nicholls...She also placed second in the weight throw at the Holiday Preview, breaking her PR for the first time this season in 19.57m (64-2.50)...Won both the shot put and weight throw competitions at the Missouri Invitational...Was second in the shot put at the Husker Invitational with a throw of 16.16m (53-0.25), and placed third in the weight throw with a mark of 19.38m (63-7)...Took home another win in the shot put at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge before going on to earn her first All-SEC finish at the Indoor Championships in the weight throw, hitting a new PR of 19.81m (65-0) to place third...Ended the season at the NCAA Championships, where she finished ninth in the shot put (16.72m / 54-10.25) to earn a Second Team All-American honor.
Outdoor Track - Started the outdoor season with a win in the discus and second in the hammer at the Missouri Relays...Earned a season's best in the hammer at the Arkansas Spring Invitational, throwing 55.53m (182-2) to take second in the competition...Took home three more first-place finishes in the shot put at the Crimson Tide Invitational, Iowa Musco Invitational, and ESU Mid-Week Open...Placed third in both the discus and shot put at the Drake Relays...Took a couple season's bests and All-SEC finishes at the Outdoor Championships, starting with second-place in the discus (54.05m / 177-4)...Earned her first SEC title in the shot put with a final throw of 17.80m (58-4.75)...Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in both the discus and shot put, and placed second in the shot put to move on to the NCAA Championships...Placed sixth in the shot put at the NCAA Championships with a toss of 17.04m (55-11) and earn her fourth All-American honor.

Outdoor Track - Kearsten's break-out season ended with a fourth-place finish at the U.S. Olympic Trials and two All-American honors...It began, though, with a win and second-place finish in the hammer (54.11m / 177-6.25) and discus (46.20m / 151-6.75), respectively, at the CMU Open...She won two more hammer competitions, four shot put competitions, and three discus competitions throughout the season...Her season's final win in the discus came at the Big 12 Championships, where she threw 54.38m (178-5)...She also competed in the shot put at the Big 12 Championships, and earned another All-Big 12 honor after finishing second overall with a throw of 17.65m (57-11)...Qualified for the NCAA Championships West Preliminary Round, where she finished second in the shot put with a throw of 17.74m (58-2.50), tenth in the discus (52.25 / 171-5), and 11th in the hammer throw with a PR of 62.38m (204-8)...Went on to the NCAA Championships, where she competed in all the shot put, discus, and hammer...Took home two All-American honors in the shot put and discus, finishing sixth overall in both events with marks of 17.31m (56-9.50) and 55.60m (182-5), respectively...Her mark in the discus was also good for a new PR and Missouri School Record...She also competed in the hammer, putting down a top mark of 57.64m (189-1.25)...She ended her season at the U.S. Olympic Trials, just missing out on a trip to the London Olympics with a fourth-place finish and PR throw of 18.22m (59-9.50)...This was also her second Missouri record-breaking performance of the season.

Indoor Track - Kearsten started her illustrious career at Missouri with her first All-Big 12 honor, and a PR, in the weight throw, marking in at 18.92m (62-1) for third in the conference...She also competed in the shot put throughout the season, taking home three wins in the event...Her season-best throw of 15.86m (52-0.50) came at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, and was enough to get her a third-place finish overall...Her second-best shot put mark was at the final meet of the season, the Iowa State NCAA Qualifier, where she finished sixth with a throw of 15.45m (50-8.25)...Her second-best weight throw mark of 18.49m (60-8) was good to win the event at the KU-MU Dual Meet.
Outdoor Track - Competed unattached in two meets during the outdoor season, taking home first-place finishes for the shot put in both...Her first meet was the CMU Open, where she won the shot put with a mark of 15.52m (50-11) and took seventh in the hammer throw with a toss of 42.39m (139-1)...She went on to win the shot put at the Kansas Relays, marking in at 15.76m (51-8.50)...She also competed in the discus and hammer at Kansas, throwing 49.24m (161-6.50) and 52.15m (171-1).
Competed at Ottawa HS for coach Evan Shaffer...Kearsten was a four-time League Champion in the shot put and two-time League Champion in the discus...As a freshman, she was third at the KSHSAA State Championships...She was a three-time State Champion in the shot put (2008-2010) and two-time State Champion in the discus (2009-2010)...She set Kansas State records in both the shot put (51-10.75) and discus (166-7)...Kerasten was also a successful basketball player throughout high school, making League Honorable Mention and Ottawa Herald All-Area (2008-2010), League First Team (2009-2010), and All-State Honorable Mention (2009-2010).
