2011/2012:
Indoor Track- Competed unattached at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, winning both the shot put and weight throw competitions with marks of 15.81m (51-10.5) and 18.99m (62-3.5), respectively.
Outdoor Track- Kearsten's break-out season ended with a fourth-place finish at the U.S. Olympic Trials and two All-American honors, but began with a win in the hammer throw and second-place finish in the discus at the CMU Open, marking in at 54.11m (177-6.25) and 46.20m (151-6.75), respectively...She won two more hammer, four shot put, and three discus competitions throughout the season...Her final win in the discus came at the Big 12 Championships, where she threw 54.38m (178-5)...She also competed in the shot put competition at the Big 12 Championships, and earned anothe All-Big 12 honor after finishing second overall with a throw 17.65m...Qualified for the NCAA Championships Preliminary Round, where she finished second in the shot put with a throw of 17.74m (58-2.5), 10th in the discus with a mark of 52.25m (171-5), and 11th in the hammer throw with a personal-record of 62.38m (204-8)...Went on to the NCAA Championships, where she competed in the hammer, discus, and shot put...Took home two All-American honors in the shot put and discus, finishing sixth overall in both events with marks of 17.31m (56-9.5) and 55.60m (182-5), respectively...Her mark in the discus was also good for a new personal and Missouri school record...She also competed in the hammer, putting down a top mark of 57.64m (189-1.25)...Ended the season at the U.S. Olympic Trials, just missing out on a trip to the London Olympics with a fourth-place finish and personal-record throw of 18.22m (59-9.5)...This was also her second Missouri school record-breaking performance of the season.
2010/2011:
Indoor Track- Started her illustrious career at Missouri with her first All-Big 12 honor, and a personal-record, in the weight throw, marking in at 18.92m (62-1) for third place in the conference...Also competed in the shot put throughout the season, taking home three wins in the event...Her season-best throw of 15.86m (52-0.5) came at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational and was enough to get her a third-place finish overall...Her second-best shot put mark waas at the final meet of the season, the Iowa State NCAA Qualifier, where she finished sixth with a throw of 15.45m (50-8.25)...Her second-best weight throw mark of 18.49m (60-8) was good to win the event at the KU MU Dual Meet.
Outdoor Track- Competed unattached in two meets during the outdoor season, taking home first place finishes for the shot put in both...Her first meet was the CMU Open where she finished first in the shot put with a mark of 15.52m (50-11) and seventh in the hammer throw with a toss of 42.39m (139-1)...She went on to win the shot put at the Kansas Relays, marking in at 15.76m (51-8.5)...She also competed in the discus and hammer at Kansas, throwing 49.24m (161-6.5) and 52.15m (171-1), respectively.
High School:
Competed at Ottawa HS for coach Evan Shaffer...Kearsten was a four-time League champion in the shot put and two-time League champion in the discus...As a freshman, she was third at the KSHSAA State Championships...She was a three-time State champion in the shot put (2008-2010) and two-time State champion in the discus (2009, 2010)...She set Kansas State records in both the shot put (51-10.75) and discus (166-7)...Kearsten was also a successful basketball player throughout high school, making League Honorable Mention and Ottawa Herald All-Area (2008/09, 2009/10), League First Team (2009/10), and All-State Honorable Mention (2009/10).

Mom is Christina Reedy, brother James...Born December 20, 1991 in Merriam, KS...Her brother, James, plays football for Hutchison County Community College...She is studying Human Development and Family Studies at Missouri.
