Competed at Rock Bridge HS for coach Elisha Hunt...Helped his team to a District title and seventh-place finish at the MSHSAA State Championships (2011)...As an individual, Nick All-Distric in the shot put (2009) and All-Section in the discus (2010, 2011) and shot put (2011)...He was District and Sectional Champion in the shot put (2010, 2011) and discus (2010, 2011)...Earned All-State honors in the shot put (2010, 2011)...Was the Rock Bridge HS Most Valuable Thrower all four years...High School bests are 56-4 (shot put) and 167-2 (discus).

Parents are Anthony and Julie...Born June 1, 1993 in Columbia, MO...Nick earned the George Washington Carver Award, Presidential Excellence Award, and Scholar Athlete Award (2011)...Was on honor roll (2007-2010)...Two-time recipient of the CACC I Can Club Award and CACC Outstanding Student Finalist (2009, 2010)...Earned the 2008 Departmental Excellence Award in Government and Economics...Is planning on studying Biochemistry/Pre-Med at Missouri.
