IndoorTrack- Earned PR marks at every meet during the indoor season beginning with his jumps of 2.02m (6-7.5) at the Missouri Invitational and Kentucky Invitational, placing 2nd and 4th, respectively...Was 3rd at the Husker Invitational with a jump of 2.05m (6-8.75)...Finished 4th at the Tyson Invitational after marking in at 2.06m (6-9)...Finished out the indoor season with a 6th-place finish at the SEC Championships, scoring for the Tigers with a final mark of 2.08m (6-9.75)

Outdoor Track- Began his season at the Arkansas Spring Invitational where he finished 9th after jumping 2.01m (6-7)...Earned his season's best mark at the Crimson Tide Invitational, finishing 6th with a mark of 2.05 (6-8.75)...Earned that mark again at the SEC Championships, finishing in 9th to just miss scoring for the Tigers

Indoor Track- Started his career as a Tiger with a second-place finish in the high jump at the MU KU Dual, earning his personal-best mark of 2.00m (6-6.75)...His second-best jump of the season came at the Bill Bergan Invitational, where he marked in at 1.95m (6-4.75) to take ninth

Outdoor Track- Tied his personal-best jump of 2.00m (6-6.75) at the Missouri Relays to finish second...Ended his season at the Tom Botts Invitational, where he marked in at 1.91m (6-3.25) for a third-place finish

HIGH SCHOOL
Competed at Cameron HS for coaches Kurt Dikkut and Matt Wenck...Mitch was a four-time Conference Champion in the high jump (2008-2011), and also won in the triple jump (2010)...He was also a three-time MSHSAA All-State high jumper (2009-2011), and won the State Title in the event his senior year...Mitch also played basketball in high school, and was a two-time All-State athlete (2010, 2011)
