2011/2012:
Indoor Track- Her only meet of the season was the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, where she placed fourth in the long jump with a mark of 5.50m (18-0.5).
Outdoor Track- Competed primarily in the long jump during the outdoor season, and earned her first All-Big 12 honor with a seventh-place jump of 5.66m (18-6.75)...She also posted a 100m time of 12.79 at the Missouri Relays...Erika's season-best jump of 5.72m (18-9.25) was enough to earn her eighth at the Kansas Relays...Her second-best performance was 5.70m (18-8.5), enough to earn her a second-place finish at the Missouri Relays.
2010/2011:
Indoor Track- Competed in both the long jump and triple jump during the indoor season, and posted a personal record mark of 5.81m (19-0.75) in the long jump at the Iowa State Classic to place fifth...Her season-best triple jump performance was at the MU KU Dual Meet, where she placed fourth with a mark of 10.60m (34-9.25)
Outdoor Track- Erika competed at the Big 12 Championships in both the long jump and 4x100m...Just missed out on her first All-Big 12 honor as part of the ninth-place 4x100m, finishing with an overall time of 47.48...She hit her season-best mark of 5.64m (18-6) in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships to place 15th.
High School:
Competed at Mexico HS for coaches Dan Quinlan, Buck Green, and Mitch Ridgeway...Erika was captain for three years (2008-2010) and broke the Mexico HS long jump record...She earned All-Conference honors in the long jump (2008), triple jump (2009) and 100m (2008, 2009)...Was the 2009 Conference Champion in the long jump...Erika earned All-District honors in the long jump (2010), triple jump (2009), and 100m (2008)...She was also a two-time District Champion in the long jump (2008, 2009)...At the state level, she earned three All-State honors in the long jump, finishing fourth (2008) and third (2009, 2010)...She also earned an All-State finish in the triple jump (2009)...Erika also played volleyball and basketball in high school, serving as team captain for both (2008-2009), and earned All-Conference honors in volleyball (2009), basketball (2008-2010), All-District in basketball (2009-2010), and All-State in volleyball (2008)...High School bests are 19-1 (long jump) and 37-4 (triple jump).
