2011/2012:
Indoor Track- Malcolm started his career at Missouri with his an All-Big 12 honor and 12th place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the long jump...Started the season off with a win in the 60m dash, crossing the line in 6.78, a season-best...Also competed in the 200m, placing second with a season-best time of 22.99, and had another win in the long jump with a mark of 7.74m (25-4.75)...Took home another win in the long jump at the Illinois Classic, marking in at 7.33m (24-0.5)...Malcolm earned his first All-Big 12 honor in the long jump, finishing sixth with a mark of 7.23m (23-8.5)...He also competed in the 60m at the Big 12 Championships...Ended the season at the NCAA Championships, where he finished 12th overall in the long jump with a mark of 7.23m (23-8.5).
Outdoor Track- Continued his successful year with another All-Big 12 honor in the long jump, finishing third with a personal-record jump of 7.82m (25-8)...He also earned a new personal-record time of 10.77 in the 100m at the Missouri Relays to finish fifth overall...Just missed out on another All-Big 12 honor in the 4x100m after finishing ninth with an overall time of 41.94...Malcolm was the Drake Relays long jump champion, marking in at 7.71m (25-3.)...He ended the season at the NCAA Preliminary Round, where he jumped 7.55m (24-9.25).
Pre-Mizzou:
Competed at Kansas City Community College for coach Reggie Jones...Malcolm was fourth at the 2009 NJCAA Outdoor National Championships in the long jump...Qualified for the 2010 NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in both the long jump and 4x100m relay...Finished third in the long jump competition at the Indoor NJCAA Championships, and won the event at the Outdoor NJCAA Championships (2010)...Was third in the long jump at the 2009 NJCAA Outdoor Championships...Owns a personal-best long jump mark of 7.67m, a mark that would have ranked him in the nation's top 30 at the NCAA Division I level last season ... He set that mark at the NJCAA National Outdoor Championships, winning the NJCAA Championship in the event, just ahead of South Plains Dellon Williams ... Was the Most Valuable Runner in 2010...Malcolm also earned All-Conference honors in the long jump (2009-2010)...Leaped a season-best 7.59m in the long jump during the 2009 outdoor season and owns an indoor personal-best of 7.37m in the long jump as well ... Set a personal-best in the 100m dash of 11.47 as well.
High School:
Competed at Washington HS for coach Pastor Larry Davidson...Malcolm was a two-time City champion (2006, 2007), three-time Conference champion (2006-2008), two-time Sectional champion (2007, 2008), and Regional champion (2008) in the long jump...He was a IHSA State Championships finalist in the long jump (2007, 2008) and was ranked #1 in Indiana with a mark of 24-2.5...He was named team MVP in 2008.
