Krishna Lee, an accomplished thrower under the direction of Brett Halter at Mizzou, will begin her first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Mizzou track and field team this season. Lee is the school's record holder in the hammer throw and currently holds the program's second-best weight throw mark and the third-best outdoor shot put mark.
Lee is a five-event NCAA Championships qualifier and multiple-time All-American and All-Big 12 honoree. In fact, Lee won the Big 12 hammer throw title last season and finished third in the weight throw and shot put during the indoor season, giving her All-Big 12 honors in all three events, moving her career total to 11.
Lee finished her final season as a Tiger with a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships in the hammer throw, her first outdoor All-America honor and third overall.
