Competed at Frederick Douglass HS for coach Malcolm Drewery...Also ran for the Marlboro Track Club...Helped his team to titles at the Indoor West Regional, Indoor State Championship, Outdoor South Regional, and Outdoor State Championship...As an individual, Kyle was the 2012 USATF 110m hurdles National Champion...He was State Champion in the 110m hurdles (2010-2012), and set the State Record in 2012...Was also a two-time Indoor State Champion for the 55m hurdles (2011, 2012)...Earned an AAU National Championship title for the decathlon (2010)...Earned the 2012 Prince Georges County Track and Field Most Valuable Event Athlete, and was First Team All-County (2010-2012)...High School bests are 14.04 (110m hurdles), 7.47 (55m hurdles), and 37.9 (300m hurdles).
