Two-time Olympian ... 1993 IAAF World Champion, 4x400-meter relay


Ranks as the most decorated female athlete in University of Missouri history. She was a member of the U.S. gold-medal winning 4x400-meter relay team at the 1993 World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany, and earned an Olympic silver medal in the same event at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. She also won the 1994 U.S. 400-meter crown. While lettering at MU, Kaiser was a six-time all-American and five-time Big Eight Conference champion in the 400 meters. She was the Big Eight Conference Female Athlete of the Year in 1989, and the most valuable athlete of the Big Eight championships in 1985 and '86. She held five individual records at the University of Missouri, and also ran on eight record-setting relay teams. Before becoming head track and field coach at Drake University, Kaiser was a assistant coach at Mizzou. A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Kaiser married Brian Brown, who is now Director of the Drake Relays.
