Cross Country - Kaelyn had an exciting debut for the Tigers, placing second on the team at the Missouri v. Arkansas Dual...She finished in the top seven for the team consistently throughout the season, including scoring as Mizzou's fifth finisher in three of her five meets...She earned a season's best 21:43 on the 6000-meter course in Peoria, Ill., during the Bradley Invitational, helping the team to a first-place finish with her 26th individual placing...She ended her season at the NCAA Midwest Regional as the Tigers' fifth woman across the line in 21:55.10 for 6000-meters
Indoor - Kaelyn competed in four meets throughout the indoor season, including the prestigious Rod McCravy Memorial (Lexington, Ky.)...She earned a season's best 10:17.90 in the 3000-meter run at the Missouri Invitational for fourth, and ended the indoor season with a first-place finish in the 5000-meters at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge (17:38.42)
Outdoor - Kaelyn was on the road for all two of her three meets during the outdoor season, traveling with the team to the Crimson Tide and SIUE Gateway Invitationals...She earned a season's best 17:38.92 in the 5000-meters at the Gateway Invite for fourth

Parents are Scot and Eileen Balch...Twin sister, Ashlyn, is a member of the Co-Ed Mizzou Cheer Team...Born April 27, 1995 in Wichita, KS...Was a member of the Student Council (2010-12)...Yearbook staff member (2011, 2012)...Earned 3rd class honors (2010-13)...Was a Kansas High School Scholastic Art Show Finalist (2013)...Is planning on studying Sports Management with minors in Art and Business at Mizzou, with hopes to go on to graduate school in graphic design and pursue a career in advertising/design for professional sports franchises.
