- 2011 Indoor All-Big 12 (4x400m)
Indoor Track- Was 4th in the 600m at the Missouri Invitational, crossing in 1:24.26...Also competed in the 800m and 4x400m at the Kentucky Rod McCravy Memorial Meet and the Missouri Collegiate Challenge...Posted a season's best time of 1:58.18 in the 800m at Kentucky
Outdoor Track- Started the season with a 1500m-400m double at the Missouri Relays...Finished 7th at the Arkansas Spring Invitational in the 800m with a time of 1:59.12...Hit a PR in the 800m at the Ole Miss Invite, crossin gin 1:54.82 for 9th...Finished out his season at the Drake Relays, where he was a member of the 12th-place 1600m Sprint Medley team
Indoor Track- In the three meets Jon competed in during the season, he earned two new personal-records...The first of these was at the MU KU Dual Meet, where he placed fifth in the 600yd with a time of 1:14.50...Next was a 1:23.86 finish in the 600m at the Illini Classic to earn seventh place overall...His last meet of the season was the Missouri Collegiate Challenge where he ran 1:15.03 in the 600yd to place sixth.
Outdoor Track- Earned another personal-best during the outdoor season, hitting 49.97 in the 400m at the Tom Bots Invitational.
Indoor Track- Jon earned an All-Big 12 honor in his first season as a Tiger after finishing eighth as a member of the 4x400m with a final time of 3:15.09...He also clocked three personal-bests during the season in the 600yd, 800m, and 1000m...The first of these came at the MU KU Dual Meet, where he finished fifth in the 1000m with a final time of 2:40.15...Next up was a personal-best time of 1:55.57 in the 800m at the Bill Bergan Invitational...His final personal-best performance earned him sixth-place in the 600yd run at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, where he crossed the line in 1:14.52...Jon also competed as part of the DMR squad at the Big 12 Championships, where they finished tenth with a final time of 10:18.26.
Outdoor Track- Was part of the second-place 4x400m team at the Indiana University Invitational, finishing with an overall time of 3:12.28...Earned a season-best time of 1:56.68 at the Tom Botts Invitational.

Jon competed at Mark Twain Jr./Sr. HS for coaches Mike Thompson and Matt Hudson...He was a nine-time All-Conference honoree, ten-time All-District honoree, and five-time All-State during his HS career...Earned two MSHSAA State Championship titles in the 800m (2009, 2010), and recorded the fourth-fastest time in Class 2A State history...He also finished fourth (2009, 2010) and eighth (2008) in the 400m at the State Championships...Jon also competed in football and basketball during high school, earning Clarence Cannon Conference Second Team Defensive Back (2008), Honorable Mention Running Back (2009), and was Academic All-State in basketball his senior year
