Chris Horn enters his first year on the Missouri Track & Field staff as a volunteer assistant.

Horn recently graduated from the University of Missouri and was a team captain for the track and field squad. As a senior, Horn earned All-Big 12 and All-Region honors in the long jump, reaching a new career-best with a 24-8¼ jump at the NCAA Mideast Regional.

Horn, a native of O'Fallon, Ill., graduated from Mizzou with a degree in Math.

Outdoor: Earned All-Big 12 honors with eighth-place finish in the long jump, leaping to 24-5¾ (7.46m) ... topped previous personal best with 24-8¼ (7.52m) jump at the NCAA Mideast Regional to finish eighth ... winner of the Missouri Relays and Tom Botts Invitational long jump events. Indoor: Placed 11th and 17th, respectively, in the high and long jump events at the Big 12 Indoor Championships ... career best in the high jump of 6-9½ (2.07m) came in a winning effort at the MU All-Comers ... season best of 23-5¼ (7.14m) in the long jump came in winning effort at the Wildcat Invite.

2005:
Outdoor: NCAA Regional quallifer in the long jump, dropping a large PR at the Tom Botts Invitational with a leap of 24-3½ (7.40m) ... winner of the Tom Botts and Missouri Relays long jump events ... also ran some sprints during the season. Indoor: Placed 10th in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships with season-best jump of 23-5½ ... nearly broke the seven-foot mark in the high jump with his PR of 6-11½ at the Missouri All-Comers ... winner of the Missouri All-Comers triple and long jump competitions.

2004:
Outdoor: Placed 10th at the Big 12 Championships in the triple jump, 18th in the long jump ... season best in the triple jump came at the Missouri Relays (46-6¾, 14.19m) ... best in the long jump, with a legal wind, came at the Billy Hayes Classic, 23-1¼ (7.04m). Indoor: Placed 11th at the Big 12 Championships in the long jump, 14th in the triple jump ... personal best for the long jump came at the MU All-Comers with a leap of 23-6¾ (7.18m) ... best in the triple came at the MU-KU-KSU Triangular, grabbing 47-1¾ (14.37m) ... won event championships three time in the long jump, including the Tiger Classic against competition against Wichita State and Nebraska.

2003:
Outdoor: Finished 10th in the long jump and 12th in the triple jump at the Big 12 Championships. Indoor: Participated in all three jumps throughout season.
