Cross Country: Was the Tigers' fourth or fifth scorer during the championship season stretch ... finished second at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge ... took 53rd at the Big 12 Championships, 71st at the NCAA Midwest Regional ... season bests: 8k, 25:17, NCAA Pre-Nats; 10k, 32:22, NCAA Regl.
Outdoor: Gained a new personal-best and became the Mizzou All-Time Second-Best Performer in the 10,000m at the Stanford Invitational, running for an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 29:29.18 ... earned All-Big 12 honors in the 10k after a fourth-place finish in the event ... other season best: 5000m, 14:41.39, Tom Botts.
Indoor: Ran for a personal-best time of 14:40.31 in the 5000m at the Iowa State Classic despite falling ... season bests: 3000m, 8:39.51, Big 12; Mile, 4:25.96, Tiger Classic.
2003:
Cross Country: Named All-Midwest Region for a 24th place finish in Stillwater for the NCAA Regional in his first 10k cross country race, was No. 2 on the team ... scored a personal best at the NCAA Pre-Nationals with a run of 25:16.2 in the 8k race.
Outdoor: Had an outstanding conference meet his freshman year and was named All-Big 12 after finishing runner-up in the 10k, in the front pack all the way, came in four seconds behind winner ... also ran the 5k for the Tigers.
Indoor: Scored two top five finishes running in the 3000-meter run ... best time in the 3000m came at the Missouri Invite (8:38.38, 4th).
2002:
Cross Country: Had a solid start to his freshman season finishing 12th at the Missouri Cross Country Challenge ... finished 89th at conference meet.
High School:
2001 Oklahoma 5A cross country state champion ... 2002 state champion in the 3200 meters ... Texas Relays champion ... ranked in the Top 15 nationally in the 3200 meters.
