Indoor Track- Cortni earned a new personal-record and an All-Big 12 honor after finishing fourth with a throw of 18.77m (61-7)...She also competed in the shot put at the Championship meet, throwing 14.14m (46-4.75), her second-best mark of the season...Her season-best mark in the shot put came at the Bill Bergan Invitational, where she placed seventh with a throw of 14.29m (46-10.5)...Earned her second-best weight throw performance at the Texas A&M Invitational, where she placed fourth with a mark of 17.72m (58-1).
Outdoor Track- Earned two personal-records and a first-place finish at the ESU Mid-Week Open...Her PR of 56.92m (186-9) in the hammer throw was good for a second-place finish, and her PR of 15.65m (51-4.25) was enough for a win in the shot put...She competed in both events at the Big 12 Championships, finishing 11th in the shot put and ninth in the hammer throw...Ended the season at the NCAA Championships Preliminary Round, where she finished with a mark of 14.99m (49-2.25) in the shot put.
Indoor Track- Cortni competed in the shot put for the Tigers during the indoor season, setting a personal-best mark of 14.37m (47-1.75) at the Iowa State Classic, where she finished fourth overall...Competed in the shot put at the Big 12 Championships as well.
Outdoor Track- Set a pair of personal-bests during the outdoor season, highlighted by a career-best mark in the shot put of 14.55m (47-8.75), set at the Big 12 Championships, earning her 14th overall...Tossed a career-best mark in the hammer at the Georgia vs. Missouri Dual Meet, checking in at 52.64m (172-8.5) to earn fifth place overall in the event.
Indoor Track- Cortni set personal-best marks in both the shot put and weight throw during the indoor season, and competed in the Big 12 Championships for both events...Her personal-best in the weight throw came at the Bill Bergan Invitational where she took seventh with a mark of 17.24m (56-6.75), which was also the third-best throw by any Tiger during the season...Her second-best weight throw performance came at the Adidas Classic where she measured in at 16.54m (54-3.25), a personal-best at the time...Her shot put personal-best of 14.30m (46-11) came at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, where she took third.
Outdoor Track- Competed in the hammer throw and shot put throughout the season, and participated in both events at the Big 12 Championships...Cortni set a personal-best mark of 51.20m (167-11) in the hammer throw at the Championships to earn 12th place overall...She also earned a personal-best in the shot put during the season after she threw 13.69m (44-11) at the Missouri Relays to place fourth...Cortni competed at every meet for the Tigers in 2010, and earned an Academic All-Big 12 honor after finishing the year with a 4.0 GPA.
Cortni competed at Mashall HS for coach Kile Guthrey...She was a three-time MSHSAA Class 3 All-State performer in the shot put, including a third place finish in 2008...She was also a three-time District Champion, two-time Sectional Champion, and four-time Conference Champion in the shot put...Off the track, Cortni was a four-year letterwinner and senior captian in volleyball, and also earned three All-Conference and All-District honors...High School Bests are 43-5 (shot put).
