Outdoor: Regional qualifier with the shot put and hammer throw, making third-straight appearance with the shot, first with the hammer ... repeated indoor performance with second-place showing with the shot at the Big 12 Championships (56-10) ... season best with the shot of 57-11 came at the Tom Botts Invite ... notched career best with the hammer at Butler Twilight, tossing 192-9 (58.75m) ... winner of shot put at the Tom Botts Invitational and Missouri Relays ... seventh in Drake Relays special-invite shot put competition. Indoor: Earned All-Big 12 honors with the shot for third-consecutive Big 12 Indoor Championship, placing runner-up with indoor personal best of 60-8 (18.43m) ... 10th at Big 12s with weight throw, notching season best of 59-9 (18.21m) ... winner of the Cyclone National Qualifier and Gene Edmonds Cup shot put competitions ... overcame early season injury.

Rohr, Lee Finish As All-Americans

Although Friday marked the end of the 2009 outdoor season for Missouri Track and Field, the Tigers finished the season with two more All-Americans in Chris Rohr and Krishna Lee despite more weather issues pushing back the start of the NCAA Outdoor Championships well past the 11 a.m. start time.

After a grueling, nearly nine-hour competition, Tiger decathlete Lars Rise battled the elements and 21 other competitors over two days to finish his 2009 track season as an All-American for the second straight year on day two of the 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Tigers Qualify Despite Weather Issues

Although weather problems would affect day one of the 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the Tigers were still able to compete, paying off with three finals qualifiers in the hammer throw and pole vault and a top ten placing so far in five events of the decathlon.
