Timothy Dunne enters his third year as a member of the Missouri Track & Field staff. Dunne earned his first All-American honor and ran for a then-personal best of 1:47.39 in 2003 after finishing ninth at the NCAA Championships in the 800-meter run. The Jerome, Idaho, native tabulated nine All-Big 12 honors including one in the 2003 outdoor season and two in the 2003 indoor season.

In 2004, Dunne qualified for the USATF Olympic Trials and trained with Olympian Derrick Peterson. He ran a season-best of 1:47.76 at L.A.'s Jim Bush Invitational.

Dunne qualified for the USATF Championship final in 2005 after running a 1:47.95 in qualifying. His current personal best stands at 1:47.16 which he ran at the June 2005 Music City Distance Carnival.

Dunne graduated from Mizzou in 2003 with a degree in business management.
