2011 Indoor: Had a great indoor season as he reset two personal-bests in the throws, highlighted by a season-best toss of 17.65m in the weight throw at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, placing him second in the event ... Finished just two spots shy of All-Big 12 honors in the weight throw with a toss of 17.43m at the Big 12 Indoor Championships ... Set a personal-best in the shot put at the MU-KU Border Dual, checking in at 12.68m. Outdoor: Built upon a strong indoor season and once again tallied personal-best marks in two events ... Earned All-Big 12 honors in the hammer throw with a sixth-place finish at the Big 12 Championships after throwing 59.04m, earning him a qualifying spot at the NCAA Championship Preliminary Round ... Reset his personal-best in the discus at the Kip Janvrin Open, tossing 50.40m, placing third overall.
2010: Indoor: Weight throw specialist for the Tigers during the indoor season and posted a season-best mark of 16.40m (53-9 ¾) at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge ... Competed for the Tigers at the Big 12 Indoor Championships as well, tallying a throw of 15.12m (49-7 ¼) ... His second-best mark of the season came at the season-opening Missouri Invitational where he threw 16.38m (53-9) ... Threw 15.50m (50-10 ¼) at the MU-KU Border Dual and was measured at 15.23m (49-11 ¾) at the Bill Bergan Invitational. Outdoor: Earned All-Big 12 honors in the hammer throw after turning in a massive personal-best throw of 55.16m (180-11), earning him eighth overall ... That throw was nearly four meters better than his previous personal-best throw as he was one of the two Tigers to score for the team in the event at the Championships ... His second-best hammer throw of the season came at the Arkansas Twilight when he measured in at 51.52m (169-0) ... Threw 51.35m (168-5) at the Oregon Pepsi Invitational and also eclipsed the 50m mark at the Missouri Relays when he measured in at 50.64m (166-1) ... Also competed in the discus throw during the regular season and turned in a personal-best throw of 48.34m (158-7) at the Missouri Relays.
