2011/2012:

Indoor Track- Brian was an All-Big 12 honoree after his seventh place in the weight throw with a toss of 17.96m (58-11)...He also earned a new personal record in the weight throw, throwing 18.73m (61-5.5) to place third at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge...His second-best throw was at the Texas A&M Invitational, where he placed fourth with a mark of 17.98m (58-11.75).

Outdoor Track- Brian earned his second Al-Big 12 honor and a new personal record in the hammer throw after placing fifth with a mark of 59.66m (195-8.75)...He preceded that performance with a first place finish at the ESU Mid-Week Open, throwing 57.11m (187-4.5), he also took sixth in the discus at the meet...At the Tom Botts Invitational, Brian earned a new personal record in the discus, placing 11th with a throw of 45.47m (149-2.25).

2010/2011:

Indoor Track- Competed unattached for the Tigers during the indoor season, and tallied season-best marks of 12.63m (41-5.25) in the shot put and 16.02m (52-6.75) in the weight throw...His season-best in the weight throw came at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, while his PR in the shot put came at the MU KU Border Dual.

Outdoor Track- Competed at the CMU Open where he finished fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 48.83m (160-2.5), and seventh in the discus with a mark of 40.71m (133-6.75)...Finished the season at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships, where he placed tenth in the hammer with a final throw of 58.04m (190-5).

High School:

Competed at Iberia R-V HS for coach Gary Hammock...Brian helped lead his team to four consecutive Frisco League Conference Championship titles (2007-2008)...As an individual, Brian was a four-time Conference and District Champion in discus (2008-2010) and shot put (2010)...He also earned three Sectional titles in the discus (2008-2010)...On the state level, he was five-time MSHSAA State Championship qualifier, earning an All-State honor in 2008 and winning the title for discus in 2009 and 2010...He also qualified for the shot put (2009, 2010)...On the national stage, Brian was a time USATF Junior Nationals qualifier for the hammer throw (2009).
