2008:
Outdoor: Placed 12th at the Big 12 Championships with the javelin, tossing 122-8 (37.46m) ... captured season best in the 100-meter hurdles with a 15.44 clocking at the Tom Botts Invitational. Indoor: Took home first place honors at the Missouri All-Comers in the 60m hurdles (9.42) and the high jump with a jump of 5-2¾ (1.60m) ... high jump score from Missouri All-Comers was a personal best ... finished in 13th place in the pentathlon at the Big 12 Indoor Championships, earning 3,184 points ... earned a new PR in shot put at the Big 12 Indoors with a throw of 39-4 (11.99m).
2007:
Outdoor: Placed ninth at the Big 12 Championships in both the heptathlon (4,692) and javelin (39.04m, 128-1) ... took 13th at the USATF Junior Championships in the heptathlon ... was part of school-record breaking shuttle hurdle relay team at the Drake Relays that took fourth place with a 56.98 clocking in the finals ... notched a personal best of 4,767 in the heptathlon in placing third at the Drake Relays, notching a PR in the javelin (131-7, 40.11m) at the event as well. Indoor: Placed ninth at the Big 12 Indoor Championships in the pentathlon (3,237).
High School:
A six-time Iowa high school champion in track and field ... 14-time All-State performer in track ... holds Iowa's 3A 400-meter hurdle record ... a seven-time Drake Relays placewinner in individual events ... won four events at the Drake Relays in 2006: 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, high jump, and as part of shuttle hurdle relay squad ... also was a two-time All-State performer in volleyball ... helped Panthers to track and field back-to-back-to-back state championships in 2004, 2005, and 2006 ... high school coaches - Dave Hutchcroft and Daryl Shy.
