Jennifer Hampton - formerly Jennifer Bennett - enters her first season as a volunteer assistant with the Mizzou track and field program. Hampton is currently the school record holder in both the indoor and outdoor pole vault and was an All-American in the event. Both of her school records are nearly a foot better than the next closest competitor in program history.
At the time, both of her indoor and outdoor school records were Big 12 Conference records. Hampton in a multiple All-Big 12 honoree and claimed a Bib 12 title in the pole vault at the 2003 Big 12 Outdoor Championships.

2004:
Outdoor: Redshirt season.
Indoor: Overcoming a tore rotator cuff in left sholder, qualified for the NCAA Championships with a season-best vault of 13-3½ (4.05m) at the Iowa State Qualifier ... placed 12th at the NCAA Champiosnhips ... won titles at the Iowa State Classic and Missouri All-Comers.
2003:
Outdoor: Big 12 Pole Vault Champion after vaulting 13-1¾ ... finished second at the NCAA Regionals and qualified for the national championship, finishing in 12th ... set a new outdoor school record at the NCAA Regionals after vault of 13-6¼.
Indoor: All-American in the pole vault, breaking a Big 12 Conference all-time record and setting a new school record with a sixth place vault of 13-7¼ ... finished third at the Big 12 Championships ... hit 13-7 eariler in the year at the MU All-Comers meet.
2002:
Outdoor: Set school record in the pole vault when she cleared 12-8.75 to place second at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships ... her second place finish also earned her All-Big 12 honors ... won the event at the Iowa Musco and Emporia State meets.
Indoor: All-Big 12 in the pole vault (11-4.25) with a sixth place finish at the conference meet.
2001:
Outdoor: Earned All-Big 12 honors in the pole vault.
Indoor: Had season-best pole vault of 11-0.25 at the Big 12 Championships ... had a two-foot improvement in her first season over her high school personal best.

State champion in the pole vault senior year.
