2007: Outdoor: Had a fantastic freshman campaign in the decathlon, considering that seven of the ten disciplines in the event had never been tried by him before ... had an amazing post-season run that included a trip to the Pan-Am Junior Games where he took the Silver medal in the junior decathlon, scoring 7,074 points ... earned the trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil, by winning the junior decathlon at the USATF Junior Championships in Indianapolis with a score of 7,293, using a high jump outdoor PR, and all-time Mizzou best in the decathlon, of 6-7.5 (2.02m) to push the lead through most of day two ... used a javelin throw PR of 184-11 (56.38m) to earn All-Big 12 honors in the decathlon, placing eighth with 7,078 points ... also at the Pan-Am Junior Games, ran a 48.12 in the 400-meter portion of the decathlon, clocking the fastest time ever by a Tiger decathlete. ... set Tiger freshman decathlon records in the 100-meter (11.17), high jump, 400-meter, and 110-meter hurdles (14.98).
