Kim Lambert has been with the Department of Athletics since 2002 and is in her fourth year overseeing the Life Skills program. As the Assistant Athletics Director for Life Skills, Lambert oversees all facets of the program including the student-athletes' personal, social and career development. The Life Skills program provides personal and professional development workshops, community service opportunities and extensive career development within the Tigers for Tomorrow program for all 500 student-athletes.

Lambert graduated with her undergraduate degree in Communication from the University of Missouri and was also a swimmer competing for the Tigers from 1997-2001. She then went on to obtain her Master's degree in Student Affairs Administration in 2004, also from the University of Missouri.

Upon completing her undergraduate degree, Lambert went to work for the Muscular Dystrophy Association as their District Director in Columbia. In 2002, she returned to the University of Missouri Athletic Department as a graduate assistant in the Total Person Program. In October 2003, Lambert took over full-time as the academic coordinator for baseball, gymnastics, men's and women's swimming and diving, and tennis. In July 2007, she became the Director of Student-Athlete Development and was elevated to Assistant Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Development in 2010.

Lambert has one son, Tyler, who was born in June 2006.
