TELEVISION
FOOTBALL - Why are game times always listed as "TBA"?
Any game that is listed as "TBA" on the football schedule is done so because there remains a possibility that the game could be televised. The television contract the Big 12 Conference has with its broadcast partners - currently ABC and FOX Sports Net (along with subcontracts with ESPN and Versus) - allows the networks to always televise the most compelling matchups. ABC gets to make the first selection (usually for its 2:30 p.m. CT window), followed by FSN/ESPN in a primetime window, and finally FSN/Versus for its early game that is syndicated within the Big 12 region.
In general, selections are made for the first four weeks (i.e. the non-conference portion of the schedule) during the summer, and then beginning with conference play, selections are made on a 12-day window - two Mondays before kickoff. Up to three times per year, ABC has the option of exercising a 6-day window, meaning selections are not made until the Sunday prior to kickoff. For more information on the Big 12 football television grid, refer to the Big 12 site.
MEN'S BASKETBALL - I have the Sports Pack on DirecTV. Why can I not see Mizzou Sports Network games on FSN Midwest?
Under Big 12 Conference rules, a "third-tier" broadcast - games whose rights are controlled by the institution, and in this case meaning MSN games - can only be broadcast to within the state's boundaries. [This includes the full metropolitan areas that encompass that state, so in the case of Kansas City and St. Louis, the suburban Kansas and Illinois areas are included.] So if you live in California, for example, you will be blacked out of Mizzou men's basketball broadcasts. Incidentally, though, the reverse rules apply for video webcasts: Only out-of-state viewers may watch online streaming of men's basketball games, and Missouri residents are blacked out. The idea is that Missouri residents can tune in their local station to view the MSN games.

MIZZOU ALL-ACCESS / LIVE AUDIO
I am a subscriber to Yahoo! and listen to the football and men's and women's basketball games online. Why can't I see the videos on Mizzou All-Access?
I am a subscriber to Mizzou All-Access. Why can't I listen to football and men's and women's basketball games online?
Beginning with the 2009-10 athletic year (and the 2009 Football season), live audio of University of Missouri events will no longer be streamed online through Yahoo! Sports.
We are in the process of securing a new audio streaming partner, and information about that program - including pricing, system requirements, etc. - will be provided as soon as it becomes available. [You can follow updates here in the meantime.] Our long-standing relationship with CBS College Sports for video streaming through Mizzou All-Access remains unchanged.
LIVE STATS
Why is Gametracker not working?
It is rare, but there are occasions when either the Internet connection from the scoring computer goes down, or the program that handles the transfer of stats to the website freezes up. This is normally a short-term problem that is rectified during the game.
