Kristin Scott joined the University of Missouri Athletic Department as the Assistant Director of Development in November of 2007. Scott's primary role is to assist in a variety of development areas for Tiger Scholarship Fund. She will help coordinate assignment and allocation of priority seating and parking for football and men's basketball. She is responsible for stewarding, cultivating, and soliciting donors to the Tiger Scholarship Fund. Scott will help oversee marketing for TSF and Champions for Life Campaign. In addition, she will assist with special events including Tailgate Mizzou, 3-Point Club events, Extra Point Club, spring caravans, and Mizzou Women's Connection.
Prior to working at Mizzou, she served as the Assistant Marketing Director in the Department of Athletics at Illinois State University. While at ISU Scott was responsible for sponsorship sales, oversaw all aspects of marketing and promotions for Illinois State's 19 sports, while overseeing and hiring a staff of graduate assistants and interns. She was responsible for game-day operations and script management.
A native of Bloomington, Ill., Scott attended Illinois Wesleyan lettering in varsity basketball and softball all four years, graduating in 2003 with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Business Administrations. Following graduation she was an account manager for Wells Fargo Financial in Fort Wayne, Ind. In 2006, Scott continued her education at Illinois State University, earning a Master's in Sports Management while serving as a graduate assistant in the Illinois State Athletics office.
Kristin currently resides in Columbia.
