Group To Be Inducted Feb. 10 In Columbia
Carly Northup became the Assistant Athletic Director of External Engagement in July of 2013. Northup will direct and oversee a newly-formed division; this department will focus on creating new initiatives to expand customer service, gameday experience and fan/donor appreciation at all Athletic events. Northup will also have continued oversight of TSF donor stewardship and cultivation, and continue to be responsible for stewarding, cultivating, and soliciting a portfolio of major gift level donors. She is also a member of the four person ICA team, who was responsible for oversight of architect selection, budget ($46.8M East Side and $9.75M West Side premium seating), design, bid packages and critical path of the construction to Memorial Stadium.
In her previous roles at Mizzou, Northup served as Senior Director of Development (2011) and Development for Donor Services (2008) and facilitated all athletic department special events, while stewarding, cultivating, and soliciting a portfolio of annual fund and major gift donors.
Northup also gained the complete oversight and coordination of the Tiger Scholarship Fund Premium Seating program for football and men's basketball and assisted in the development of the capital campaign funding model. In addition, She coordinated and oversaw the establishment of the John and Dolly Kadlec Society, which focuses on the philanthropic avenue of planned giving, and was the development office liaison to Levy Restaurants Catering and Concert Operations, while serving as a member of the Senior Management Team for the Missouri Athletics Department.
Prior to the University of Missouri, Northup served as the assistant director of development for athletics in the Mountaineer Athletic Club at West Virginia University, where she assisted in the implementation of the annual fund, MAC publications, premium seating, and coordinated and facilitated all special events.
A native of Springfield, Va., Northup taught high school English at Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg, Va., from 2002-06. She also served as head coach of the women's soccer team and assistant coach with the women's basketball team.
