In his eighth year as a Mizzou staffer is former Tiger Basketball player, and current broadcaster Gary Link. Link serves as a special assistant to the athletics director, and works as a member of the Tiger Scholarship Fund. The St. Louis, Mo., native works closely with men's basketball, focusing on fund-raising and community relations efforts.

For the 13th consecutive year, Link will provide color commentary for MU games on the Tiger Radio Network. He also provides color analysis for Tiger games on television games as well.

Prior to joining the MU staff on a full-time basis, Link spent 25 years in the commercial construction business with his father in the St. Louis, Mo., area.

A graduate of the University of Missouri, the 53-year-old earned a business administration degree in 1974 after a stellar playing career with former Tiger coach Norm Stewart, which included three letters and a 17.3 points per game average as a senior in 1974.
