Entering his third year on staff and returning to Mizzou is former Tiger fullback T.J. Leon. He joins the Development team after spending a year and a half at the University of North Texas and the previous two years at the University of Oklahoma.

Leon's primary responsibilities within the Tiger Scholarship Fund include oversight of stewarding, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts and donor portfolio management. TJ is the liaison with the Varsity M Association, Mizzou's letter winner organization, and serves as the Chief Development Officer representing the Athletics Department within Central Development.

The Norman, Okla., native received his bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism in 2003. Leon was a three-year letter winner with the Tiger football team where he was named to the Academic All-Big 12 and Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2001 and 2002. He received the Most Inspirational Player award in 2002 and served for two years on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Leon received his master's degree in Education with an Emphasis in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration in 2005 from the University of Oklahoma. While attending OU, Leon volunteered with the Sooner Club, the fundraising arm of Oklahoma Athletics, which led to a graduate assistantship.
