 | Position: Associate Director of Game Operations

Emily Holden is the Associate Director of Game Operations at the University of Missouri. She is in her second year at Missouri and her ninth year in Intercollegiate Athletics. Currently, Emily serves as Game Manager and oversees all game day operations for Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving and Softball. She also coordinates guest relations and game day staffing for football in addition to overseeing Women's Tennis and assisting with various other sports. Emily is also responsible for managing the student staff members and interns. In May 2011, she served as Tournament Director for the NCAA Softball Regional & Super Regional in Columbia. She also serves on the Branding and Energy Conservation Committees at Missouri.
Throughout her career, Emily has coordinated or served as the Tournament Director for 26 NCAA, Pac-10 and Big 12 Championships, as well as BCS Bowl Games and NIT pre and post-season games. These include coordinating the 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight games, the 2009 NCAA Women's Golf Regional, the 2006 Fiesta Bowl and the 2007 Pac-10 Gymnastics Championships.
Before coming to Mizzou, Emily spent seven years at Arizona State University in Development and Athletic Operations & Facilities. She began her career with the Sun Angel Foundation coordinating fundraising and special events. Following that, she worked for five years in Athletic Operations & Facilities coordinating athletic and special events, as well as coordinating Guest Services. While at Arizona State, she worked with Football, Men's Basketball, Baseball, Women's Basketball, Softball, Women's Volleyball, Women's Soccer, Men's & Women's Golf and Women's Gymnastics. She served as Coordinator and Facility Manager of the Sun Devil Stadium Suites Complex and coordinated Guest Services for football game days. Emily also coordinated various special events including a LA Galaxy Major League Soccer game and the 2009 Commencement with keynote speaker, President Barack Obama.
The native of Mesa, Arizona earned her Bachelor's degrees in Business Marketing and Communications - Public Relations from California Lutheran University in 2003. In 2010, she earned her Master's Degree in Higher Education with a Leadership Emphasis from Arizona State University.
Currently, Emily is a member of the Collegiate Event & Facility Mangers Association (CEFMA) and National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA). She also serves on the Foundation Funds Committee with NACWAA. She recently graduated from the NCAA/NACWAA Institute for Administrative Advancement. In November 2010, Emily served as the NCAA Representative for the Volleyball Regional in Lincoln, NE. In the past, she was a member of the Association of Luxury Suite Directors and, in 2007, served on their Board and Convention Planning Committee.
Emily is also a Wish Granter with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and serves on the Ronald McDonald House Show Me 100 Committee.
