Keith Caton was named Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning in August 2005. His main responsibilities are assisting with the player development program for football as well as the design and implementation of programs for the Missouri baseball and wrestling teams. He is also the Director of the Mizzou Performance Club.

Caton came to Missouri via Western Kentucky University. At WKU he was the Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning. He assisted with football and directed all aspects of the men's basketball program.

Prior to Western Kentucky, Caton had designed and implemented the athletic performance programs for football and softball since April 2003 at Elon University. In January of 2004 Caton was named the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in charge of all sports for Elon. In this role, he was directly responsible for the design and implementation of the athletic performance programs for football, men's basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball (position players), and golf. In addition, Caton oversaw the development of all other varsity sports at Elon University.

Caton was a graduate assistant for Coach Kevin Yoxall at Auburn University from the summer of 2001 to April 2003. At Auburn he assisted with football, softball, and baseball while being responsible for the equestrian team. Caton graduated from Auburn University with an Educational Specialist Degree in 2003.

Caton played football for The University of Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles for four years. Following his playing days he remained at USM as strength and conditioning graduate assistant from the June of 1999 to May of 2001. There Caton helped with player development of football and men's basketball as well as being responsible for women's tennis, women's soccer, and softball. Caton received both his undergraduate degree in the spring of 1999 in Exercise Physiology and his masters in May of 2001 in Coaching / Sports Administration from USM.

Caton holds certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. Caton is married to the former Adriene Marie Ratcliff of Mobile, AL. They have one child, Kade Taylor, eleven months old.
