Hall of Fame Class:

A native of St. Louis, Ault was standout track performer at Mizzou in the 1940s. He won Big Six Conference outdoor titles in the 220-yard hurdles in 1946 and '47, and Big Seven Conference outdoor crowns in the same event in 1948 and '49. He was the league's quarter-mile champion in 1947 and '49. Ault won a spot on the U.S. Olympic team, and placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in the 1948 Olympic Games in London. Ault spent a long career as a coach and athletic director at Westminster College in Fulton, and is also known as one of the nation's premier track and field starters. He lives in Fulton, Mo.
