The Mizzou Athletic Department's Statewide Outreach circuit continued on Thursday, November 10th as three Mizzou staff members made their way around Central Missouri. The caravan made stops in Callaway, Montgomery, Osage and Gasconade Counties. MU Director of Athletics Mike Alden was joined by Assistant Director of the Tiger Scholarship Fund Nico Yantko and Game Operations Associate Derek Doolittle on Thursday's trip.

The day began as the group departed from Boone County and made its way toward Williamsburg, Mo., in Callaway County. While in Williamsburg, the outreach members visited with the staff and customers at Crane's Country Store. The Crane family has been a longtime supporter of Mizzou Athletics.

The trip continued in Montgomery City, Mo., where Alden and staff were greeted by a room full of Tiger supporters at the Montgomery County Senior Center. The trio also made a brief appearance at Montgomery County High School.

Alden and staff continued on their journey to Osage County where they visited with Mike Carroll at Carroll-Rehma Motors in Linn, Mo.

The final stop on this month's Statewide Outreach trip brought the group to Gasconade County for a stop in Owensville, Mo. for its bi-monthly Lions Club meeting. Alden addressed the large gathering with the purpose of updating them on the happenings at Mizzou.

The Statewide Outreach program, which has visited all 114 counties in Missouri, will continue with several more trips being planned for the coming months.
