Visiting Team Information
For the past decade the University of Missouri Athletic Department has been a proud host of over 20 NCAA post season competitions. Located in the heart mid-Missouri, Mizzou has been a prime location for NCAA Regional Softball, Baseball, and Women’s Soccer. Not to mention, as a proud member of the Big 12 conference being a host of 5 Big 12 Championships in the past 3 years alone.
Mizzou Sports Medicine would like to welcome you to Columbia. During your brief stay we will provide the following:
- Ice, ice bags, cups, water, and Gatorade
- Basic first aid supplies
- The use of therapeutic modalities-EMS, ultrasound, hydrocollator, and hydrotherapy equipment, all upon request
- A team physician/s will be on-site or on-call
- Emergency equipment (vacuum splints, AED, etc…) will be kept on-site at each event
If you have any needs and/or special requests, please feel free to contact us ahead of time. We hope you enjoy your stay in Columbia. Our Sports Medicine Staff prides itself on the service we provide, so let us know if you need anything.
