Graduate Assistant Application Procedure

Job Description: To work as a Certified Athletic Trainer under the supervision of the staff athletic trainers and report to the head athletic trainer. Provide medical care and coverage for Division I student-athletes and athletic teams as assigned. Duties include assisting day-to-day operations of the athletic training facilities, game and practice coverage, along with travel to cover games and any other assigned duties by the head athletic trainer.
Qualifications: Prospective students must be NATABOC certified or eligible to sit for the test upon start date and eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri. Students must begin the application process to the Graduate School as well as the graduate program of their choice. Being accepted into the graduate program is a separate process from the application for the athletic department position.
Dates of service: Two-year appointment with a 12-month appointment each year (June thru May)
