Mizzou Leads Big 12 in Student-Athlete Graduation Rates

The University of Missouri leads the Big 12 in graduation rates for student- athletes, with a 72% graduation rate. The 72% is seven percent higher than the student body rate at Mizzou of 65% and is the highest graduation rate amongst student-athletes in school history, said Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Services Bryan Maggard. Last year Mizzou finished sixth in the Big 12 with a 57% graduation rate. Baylor University finished second behind Missouri in the Big 12 with a 69% graduation rate. Mizzou last led the Big 12 in student-athlete graduation rates in 1999 with a mark of 66%.
