COLUMBIA, Mo. - In association with Southeastern Conference alumni groups in the St. Louis area, the Mizzou Tiger Club and Mizzou Alumni Association will host an SEC Summer Summit Picnic on Sunday, June 8, at De Smet High School in Creve Coeur, Mo., beginning at 2 p.m. SEC fans of all ages and school colors are welcome to come show their support for the league at the event. Admission is just $10 for adults and $5 for children (12-and-under). SEC commissioner Mike Slive and Mizzou chancellor R. Bowen Loftin will be on hand. Former LSU standout Marcus Spears, who was just named to the SEC Network's Saturday morning college football show SEC Nation, will be on hand as well. Spears was an All-American at LSU and played for the Tigers from 2001-04.

There will be plenty to do at the event as it will feature fun for the entire family. Food trucks, sno-cone stands, kettle corn, carnival games, inflatables and face painting will highlight the event and both Chancellor Loftin and Commissioner Slive are scheduled to talk with fans at the event. There will also be a beverage tent provided by DeSmet's Alumni Association.

The SEC Summer Summit Picnic is hosted by the St. Louis Mizzou Tiger Club and the St. Louis Chapter of the Mizzou Alumni Association.
