COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Sports Properties, University of Missouri’s exclusive multimedia and marketing partner, today announced that St. Louis’ KTRS The Big 550 AM will be the new radio partner for Missouri football and Men’s basketball broadcasts beginning this fall.
KTRS-550 AM will carry all University of Missouri football, Men’s basketball, “Tiger Talk” coaches’ shows, and “Tiger Update” daily reports as part of a multi-year agreement with the Tiger Network. Mizzou Sports Properties, the locally based entity of collegiate multimedia rights leader Learfield Sports, manages all aspects of the broadcasts, as well as the Tiger Network.
“KTRS The Big 550 is proud to once again partner with the University of Missouri as the radio station in St. Louis for Mizzou football and basketball,” said Tim Dorsey, General Manager of KTRS-550 AM. “University of Missouri is one of the premier programs in college sports, and Mizzou fans will now have a consistent radio home at 550 AM for the Tiger Network."
“We are very pleased to partner with KTRS as our new radio affiliate in St. Louis,” said University of Missouri Director of Athletics Mike Alden. “St. Louis is a very important city for us, and we know this partnership will be a positive one for Mizzou, KTRS and our fans.”
