Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri's home on the radio in mid-Missouri will continue to be found on the network of Cumulus Media, Inc. affiliates. The Department of Athletics' multi-media rights holder, Mizzou Sports Properties, has signed a five-year agreement, running through the 2009-2010 season, with Cumulus, as announced by the department. Cumulus remains as the exclusive radio affiliate partner for Mizzou Athletics in the Columbia and Jefferson City areas.
Tiger fans will be able to listen to broadcasts of football games, as well as men's and women's basketball contests and the weekly "Tiger Talk" sports call-in show, on KFRU (1400 AM) and KBXR (102.3 FM) in Columbia, and on KLIK (1240 AM) and KJMO (104.1 FM) in Jefferson City.
The agreement continues one of the longest-standing affiliate relationships in the country, as Tiger Athletics have been broadcast on KFRU Radio (1400 AM) in Columbia since 1926.

"We cherish our relationship with the University of Missouri and its athletic programs, and we're extremely proud to renew our relationship with MSP," said Scott Boltz of Cumulus. "There is no better partnership for us than the Tigers on our radio stations in Columbia and Jefferson City," he said.
Cumulus Media Inc. owns and operates FM and AM radio station clusters serving mid-size markets throughout the United States. Cumulus is the second largest radio broadcasting company in the United States based on the number of stations owned or operated. Including all pending acquisitions announced through March 1, 2004, Cumulus owns and operates a total of 301 stations in 61 U.S. markets.
