Stadium Policies

Policies & Procedures

  1. Prohibited Items
    • Animals (except for assistive purposes)
    • Artificial noisemakers
    • Backpacks (diaper bag with a child are permitted)
    • Banners/signs larger than 2’ by 3’ (signs must reflect good sportsmanship and must not be on a pole, or affixed to any part of the facility)
    • Cameras with lens wider than body
    • Commercial-grade audio/video equipment
    • Coolers (soft or hard-sided) / cans / beverage containers
    • Firearms or weapons
    • Glass bottles and cans
    • Items larger than 16” by 18” by 9”
    • Laser lights
    • Outside food or beverage (One sealed water bottle is permitted, and food for medical purposes is permitted with the approval of gate attendant
    • Strollers
    • Umbrellas
  2. Permitted Items
    • Items that meet the size requirements (16” by 18” by 9”)
    • Diaper Bags (with a child)
    • Sealed plastic water bottle (1 per person)
    • Banners & signs that are no larger than 2’ by 3’, reflect good sportsmanship, do not block the view of the other ticket holders, and are not affixed to any part of the stadium nor on a pole or mast
    • Food for medical purposes (will be approved by gate attendant)
  3. Camera Policy
    • Cameras are restricted in Memorial Stadium; a camera lens must not exceed the width of the camera or have a stand or tripod attached. Video cameras are not permitted. Personal snapshot pocket cameras are allowed in the stadium, however, in no instance may photography interfere with access ways, seat aisles, or other guests’ enjoyment of the game. Note ”Secondary use of any pictures, audio description, film, tape or drawing of the game are the exclusive rights of the NCAA”.
  4. Stadium Entry & Re-Entry
    • The Southeastern Conference mandates that once admitted to the stadium, no ticket holder shall be permitted to leave and re-enter the facility on that ticket. In the event of inclement weather, home-team game management reserves the right to waive this policy.
  5. Ticket Scanning
    • All tickets will be electronically scanned to verify authenticity. Patrons assume all risks for tickets purchased through sources other than the Mizzou Athletics Ticket Office.
  6. Emergency Evacuation
    • In case of evacuation, instructions will be given over the public address system. Gate personnel and ushers will assist in directing fans to the appropriate location.
  7. Inclement Weather
    • In the event of inclement weather (i.e. dangerous winds, tornado, electrical storm, etc.) all guests will be advised that it is in their best interest to seek shelter. Emergency instructions will be delivered via the public address system and the message boards when possible.
  8. Lost & Found
    • Lost and found services are maintained at the Guest Services Booths on the East and West Concourses during the game. Following the game, found items will be recorded by Mizzou Athletics and delivered to the University of Missouri Police Department. Please call (573) 882-7201 to retrieve your lost item. If you find a misplaced item, please turn it in to the nearest Guest Services booth or Event Staff representative.
  9. Lost Guests
    • Children and adults separated from their parties will be escorted to the nearest Guest Services booth. For assistance in locating a lost member of your party, contact the nearest Event Staff representative or security officer. Both Guest Services booths offer wristbands to children and adults that will identify the seat location should you become separated from your party.
  10. Smoking
    • As of July 1, 2013, the University of Missouri has become a smoke-free campus. In order to promote an enjoyable game day experience for everyone, smoking is not permitted in Memorial Stadium or in the surrounding parking lots. For more information you can visit
  11. Sportsmanship
    • The University of Missouri is committed to promoting a positive and safe environment at all home events. In accordance with NCAA and SEC rules, we ask that all fans act responsibly and courteously to those around you. Abusive language or disorderly conduct is unacceptable and unwelcome at Mizzou. Any spectator who interferes with the game by coming onto the field or by throwing objects on the field at any time will be removed from the stadium and subject to further sanctions which may include loss of future ticket privileges.
