Mizzou Athletics Training Complex - Dining Services

Preparing a meal for 250 people five nights a week is just part of what the staff in Athletic Dining Services does. They serve dinner Sunday through Thursday for the Mizzou Football team during the season.

The new dining hall has been expanded to over 9,200 square feet of spacious accommodations (almost three times the previous amount of space prior to the expansion) that will give Mizzou Football student-athletes the best dining facilities around. In the new dining facility, there will be room for specialized cooking stations, such as pizza, omelets, stir-fry, etc., in addition to many more exciting features.

The dining services staff works along with the Missouri strength and conditioning coaches in developing menus that maintain a good nutritional value. They plan meals that are low in fat and high in protein to meet the demanding physical needs of Tiger student-athletes.

On a typical night the dining hall offers two entrees, two types of pasta, one starch item, two vegetables, bread, soup, a full salad bar, a deli bar, up to 10 types of fruit and a dessert. The dining hall also provides six types of juices, three kinds of Powerade, tea and milk.

In addition, Dining Services provides meals for recruits and their families on game days and at athletic department special events and functions held in the Memorial Stadium press tower and other locations such as Mizzou Arena.
