A.L. GUSTIN GOLF COURSE - Columbia, Mo.
Built in 1956, the University of Missouri's golf course is a challenging par-70 track. With tight driving holes, small bentgrass greens and a hilly terrain, you'll use every club in the bag to get around. Recent renovations, including a new clubhouse/team area and improvements including zoysia tees and fairways, have made this one of the area's best public courses. A new team-only short-range has been added recently to help the Tigers work on their short games.
THE MISSOURI BLUFFS GOLF CLUB - St. Charles, Mo.
Designed by famed architect Tom Fazio in 1995, the Missouri Bluffs Golf Club is a beautiful and challenging course. Listed as the No. 42 course in Golf Digest's top 75 courses in the USA in 1996, the course has served as the site of the Nike St. Louis Golf Classic, as well as one of the nation's premier collegiate tournaments - the Missouri Bluffs Challenge, hosted each October by MU.
OLD HAWTHORNE GOLF CLUB - Columbia, Mo.
Construction has begun on a golf community that developers have proposed as the year-round home of the University of Missouri golf programs, beginning in 2007. The development is centered around a 7,200-yard championship layout that will host MU's fall tournament, the Missouri Bluffs Intercollegiate, and numerous other championship events.
The project will also include a dedicated training facility for the Tiger golf programs, including a separate clubhouse with locker and office space; an indoor facility for all-weather putting practice and video analysis; and heated driving bays over a dedicated driving range.
