School has been out for nearly two weeks here at Mizzou, so campus is looking like a bit of a ghost town. On Saturday, however, there will be plenty of action to keep Tiger fans busy. Here's a full rundown:
- Beginning at 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., mid-Missouri residents are encouraged to ome out to D'Rowe's (1005 Club Village Drive) and help former Tiger player David Rowe, along with Mizzou coaches and players pack the Mizzou Football semi full of needed supplies for Joplin tornado relief. See the release for the full list of items
- Starting at 5:30 p.m., Mizzou will host a Family Fan Fest located in the Softball parking lot north of University Field. The event will run until 7:30 p.m., and will feature face painting, inflatable games, balloon artist, and more. There will be free food and drinks, and monetary donations for the Joplin Relief efforts will be accepted.
- Finally, Mizzou Softball welcomes the Washington Huskies in town for NCAA Super Regional play at University Field. Game 1 of the best-of-three series will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Game 2 begins Sunday at 6:00 p.m. If necessary, the deciding Game 3 will be played Sunday at 8:30 p.m. For those not able to make it to the park, all games will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
