Each week on this blog, we will select a Player and Pitcher of the Week for Mizzou Baseball. The Tigers are 4-2 on the season after winning 2-of-3 at the Auburn Classic last weekend. Missouri defeated Florida Atlantic, 4-2, on Friday and took down the host school, Auburn, by a score of 11-7 on Saturday before dropping the final game of the weekend to Boston College.

Aaron Senne - 1B - Senior
Missouri senior Aaron Senne hit .462 (6-for-13) in the Tigers' three games at the Auburn Classic last week, including three home runs and two doubles. He drove in six runs and had a slugging percentage of 1.308. Senne had a double in the opener of the Auburn Classic on Friday against Florida Atlantic. On Saturday against Auburn, Senne hit two home runs and had four RBI. His first homer was a two-run shot in the third inning and his second was the second of back-to-back home runs for Mizzou in the fifth inning. Senne closed the weekend with a 2-for-4 performance against Boston College, with a home run and a double. The homer on Sunday was his third in two days and gave him 30 for his career, which is ninth on MU's career home runs list.

Eric Anderson - RHP - Freshman
Freshman Eric Anderson picked up a win in his first start as a Tiger, as he pitched five scoreless innings on Friday against Florida Atlantic. Anderson stuck out five and did not walk a batter, allowing four hits. Anderson struck out one batter in each inning he worked and faced the minimum in two of his five innings pitched. The Tigers won the game by a score of 4-2.
Next week, Mizzou will travel to Houston, Texas for the Houston College Classic. The Tigers will face Houston on Friday, TCU on Saturday and Texas on Sunday. The event is being played at Minute Maid Park, the home of Major League Baseball's Houston Astros.
