MU-KU 'Border Dual' Live Blog

Last Friday, the Mizzou track and field team opened its 2010 indoor season with a variety of great performances at the Missouri Invitational. In case you are wondering, several Mizzou student-athletes rank among the best in the Big 12, as you can see in the Big 12 weekly performance lists.

This week, we should have one of the more exciting home meets of the season as archrival Kansas visits the Hearnes Center Field House for the 'Border Dual' at 1:30 p.m. This is one of the more unique indoor meets in the country as it pits two rivals in a dual showdown, a format of a track meet that has been somewhat forgotten as most schools go for the big meets with a lot of teams.

This meet offers a great chance for fans to watch the sport and it should be a meet in which every Tiger fan can enjoy. But, for those who cannot make it out to the meet, I will once again provide live updates on the live blog, linked below. Hopefully you will be able to tune in!

It's nice that you took your time to write all this up

WOW, what a women's throws team Mizzou has for 2010 - Just how good is Katie Evans, a Freshman no less. Very impressive.
